Inspired by paintings of the great Spanish painter Francisco Goya, Goyescas tells the story of a torrid romance in the brutal and dangerous world that was Madrid in the early 1800s. Goyescas is filled with fiery Spanish music, colorful rhythms, and breathtaking arias.
