Sue Schaefer is a native of Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is delighted to join the artistic staff at PalmBeach Opera for its 2022 season. Sue is a wig and makeup designer, producing wigs, and makeup designs, for entire opera seasons. Most recently, she has designed at Opera Saratoga in SaratogaSprings, New York. Sue has also designed at Florida Grand Opera, Sarasota Opera Company, HawaiiOpera Theatre, Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theatre, Atlanta Opera, Kentucky Opera, Opera Festival of New Jersey, NewJersey Opera Theatre, San Diego Opera, Portland Opera and Portland Centre Stage in Portland, Oregon, and many more
