Chels Kuehnel is a prop artisan for theater and opera and a scenic painter for film and television. They have worked within Colorado, New Mexico, and Virginia in various capacities includin gprop master, assistant prop master, freelance artisan, scenic painter, carpenter, and costume sager/dyer. Chels received their BFA in theatre, with a concentration in properties and scenic painting, from Santa Fe University of Art and Design in 2015. Their passion to create and collaborate extends beyond opera and theatre into event installations, burlesque, art markets, and the occasional bizarre project that comes their way. Originally from El Paso, TX Chels currently lives in Richmond, VA with their partner and two cats
