In February, Palm Beach Opera presented the first large-scale live opera event in the nation since the onset of the pandemic. Featuring Metropolitan Opera stars in live performances of classic operas La bohème, Die Zauberflöte (The Magic Flute), and Pagliacci outdoors at the South Florida Fairgrounds’ iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre, PBO’s groundbreaking festival was celebrated as a “courageous winter operatic feast” by South Florida Classical Review and “breathtakingly beautiful” by Palm Beach Daily News.
