CONCERTS IN THE CLASSROOM

Turn your classroom into a stage! Palm Beach Opera’s Bailey Apprentice Artists present an interactive program of music for local classrooms or schools at no cost. The artists perform operatic excerpts, discuss elements of careers in opera including performance, practice, healthy behaviors, productions, travel, languages, and pedagogy, and are available to answer any questions students may have about the art form.

Customized repertoire and discussion prompts may be added to your curriculum to help reinforce desired teaching goals. All Concerts in the Classroom events are accompanied by PBO’s helpful Resource Guides to better prepare every class and group, increasing the opportunity for engaging conversation between the artists and the students. Concerts in the Classroom is designed for grades K-12.

Advance reservation required. Please complete the form below to submit a reservation request.
