Experience something new.
PBO’s Young Friends program provides an accessible point of entry for music-loving Floridians between the ages of 18 and 45 who want to experience world-class opera and connect with a community of like-minded people. Learn more about the new program and join below!
How much does it cost?
Fifty bucks. That’s it. A PBO Young Friends Membership is $50 per season, per person. A Young Friends Membership includes admission to PBO mainstage operas at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, a free drink coupon, and early access to exclusive events throughout the year.
When can I come to the opera?
All Young Friends Memberships include admission to Saturday evening performances to PBO mainstage operas:
MADAMA BUTTERFLY on January 21, 2023 at 7:30PM
COSÌ FAN TUTTE on February 25, 2022 at 7:30PM
FALSTAFF on March 25, 2022 at 7:30PM
Is a Young Friends membership a subscription?
Not quite. It’s something unique. As a PBO Young Friend, you have the opportunity to experience opera from a different seat at each performance—all from the spectacular vantage point of the 2nd-floor Loge. PBO Young Friends tickets will be held at will-call. If you find a spot you like and want to keep that seat all next season, converting to a subscription is easy (and only$10-$30 more than a Young Friends membership).
