From Friday, October 28 through Sunday, November 6, OPERA America, the National Endowment for the Arts and opera organizations across the United States invite you to participate in a variety of fun, free activities such as backstage tours, flash performances and YouTube contests.

Opera Deconstructed: Madama Butterfly

Want to learn more about opera and have fun doing it? Come participate or just watch as audience members take turns reading from the Madama Butterfly libretto at Momus – the Palm Beach Opera rehearsal space. General Director Daniel Biaggi moderates and plays key selections from the opera. Young professionals ages 21-39 are encouraged to check it out and enjoy light refreshments of sushi and sake provided by Buddha Sky Bar. This event is free to the public.

Opera Night at Downtown at the Gardens

Join Palm Beach Opera and the 2011/2012 Young Artists for Opera Night at Downtown at the Gardens. This free outdoor concert features opera’s most beloved arias and duets from Palm Beach Opera’s 50th Anniversary season as well as musical theater favorites.

Great Poochini Story Hour
